ABSTRACT:
Determines the relationship between the level of performance and sex of soccer and handball players and their attitudes towards different forms of aggressive situations. Demonstrates that highly skilled soccer players and male soccer players have a higher tolerance limit relating to violent actions in soccer. Female handball players showed masculine values and behaviours. The higher the ability level, the more readily handball players were able to justify and tolerate rule violations and aggressive acts.
