ABSTRACT:
Questionnaires were sent to physical education department heads in every university in the United States with an enrollment of 15,000 or more to assess the status of risk sports in university curriculums. The results indicate that 65% of the respondents believe that risk sports are desirable. The respondents became more receptive to providing risk activities as the perceived risk of the activities decreased.
