ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of activity in the post knowledge of results (KR) interval on performance and learning. Thirty female subjects were given a simple motor task to learn. In the KR interval the first group performed a cognitive task, the second group performed a motor task and the third group performed neither a motor nor a cognitive task. The results indicate that activity during the KR interval is detrimental to performance but not to learning.
