ABSTRACT:
This study investigated the relationship between coincidence-anticipation performance and bias effects in 8-9 year-olds and adults. Results indicate that bias effects may be present in performance of coincidence-anticipation tasks by virtue of the testing order differences shown in the study. However, these differences were presented for both adults and children, so that evidence for differential bias effects across age groups is not particularly strong, although differences existed between age groups over trial blocks.
