ABSTRACT:
Constructs a descriptive model for explaining the relationship between arousal and motor performance. Describes a multidimensional research strategy for measuring stress responses characterized by subjective feelings of apprehension and the occurrence of physiological arousal. Argues the need for situation specific anxiety measures as one of several physiological, behavioural and cognitive measures.
