ABSTRACT:
Studied demographic variables and participation in outdoor recreation. Used the data from the 1977 Outdoor Recreation Telephone Survey (n=4029). Multiple regression demonstrated that the variables accounted for 1-10 percent of the variance, failing to provide an adequate model of prediction for population aggregates.
