ABSTRACT:
Examines the direction of causality of both cohesion and participation motivation with performance in intercollegiate hockey. Data were collected, using questionnaires, from 15 teams participating in intercollegiate ice hockey. Concludes that successful performance results in increased team cohesiveness and team cohesiveness does not produce more successful performance.
