ABSTRACT:
A series of etchings of old English inns, left unfinished at the artist's death. The 2nd and 3rd vols. were published by his widow E. Ruth Edwards. Without volume numbering. The 1st vol., designated "First division--Eastern England," covers East Anglia. The 2nd vol., designated "Second division--Eastern England," covers the other eastern counties. The 3rd vol., designated "Third part," covers southern and southwestern counties. One hundred and fifty copies printed. Cf. introductory notes in 2nd and 3rd vols.
