AREAS OF EXPERTISE:
Conservation Biology, Parks, Wildlife, and Interpretation As a conservation biologist and social scientist, he is active in the management and protection of threatened and declining wildlife species throughout the world. Working with the World Wildlife Fund and the IUCN (World Conservation Union), his research has taken him on projects to Europe, the Soviet Union, Indonesia, Central America, the Caribbean, South America, Africa and China. He has worked with several state, provincial and federal agencies concerned with parks and wildlife in the United States and Canada. His research efforts in recent years have focused on wildlife users, eco-tourism and changing trends in wildland recreation.
