Systems Engineering Laboratories is a division of Education and Training Consultants Co, also known as ETC and as SYSLABS. ETC was formed in 1952 as a part-time consultancy and publications organization. It was expanded in 1964 to full-time operation. Subsequently Systems Engineering Laboratories (SEL) was activated as the research arm of ETC. Today, ETC is devoted primarily to publishing while SEL is focused on research and development.
