Since its foundation in 1982, the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration has set itself the task of tailoring its services to the needs of a political, social and economic environment which is undergoing significant change. Thus, originally conceived as a full-time post-graduate school, the institute has evolved into a centre for research and teaching that is fully in tune with the professional activities of its students.
