DESCRIPTION:
The School of Sports Studies came into existence in August 2006 and is the academic division of UU Sports Academy. The School is located in Jordanstown in Block 15, within the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences. The School currently consists of 16 academic staff supported by technical and administrative staff.
We have over 400 students studying for foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate research degrees. Our aim is to be the leading institution in Ireland for the study of Sport and Exercise and to use our knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the local, national and international community.
