DESCRIPTION:
The Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering has the mission of training engineers so that they could be able to properly select materials for various industrial applications, to improve the features of the existing materials, to design new materials of well defined properties, to make research concerning the design and development of new high performance materials, to design replacement or equivalent materials, to analyse and find causes of damage due to materials, to choose the optimal technology in use for a certain technological property, to implement and develop advanced technologies in materials processing.
