DESCRIPTION:
The History Department offers a comprehensive program for undergraduate and graduate students, and its faculty have won numerous prizes for both teaching and scholarship. Our courses for undergraduates and graduate students cover a wide range of times, places, and subjects, and the department is especially strong in intellectual and cultural history, women’s history, the history of religion, Atlantic history, and African American history. In addition, M.A. students can focus on Museum Studies.
