DESCRIPTION:
The Department is the largest clinical department in the School of Medicine, with over 140 full-time faculty. Our mission is "to be recognized for excellence in teaching, research and patient care." We teach in all four years of the medical school curriculum as well as having excellent residency and fellowship training programs. We are also active in both local and national post-graduate (CME) education.
