DESCRIPTION:
The Centre for Business Research provides a research hub for the Faculty of Business and Law at Deakin University. Under the direction of Professor Charmine Härtel, the CBR is able to harness the expertise of Business and Law staff and researchers from across the disciplines covering such diverse areas as information systems, economics, marketing, human resources, employee relations, accounting, and finance.
The Centre for Business Research (CBR) is comprised of leading research academics specialising in four key areas of concern to the private, government and non-profit sectors:
(1) Economic Performance and Growth,
(2) Work, Workers and Organisations,
(3) Lifestyles, Markets and Consumption, and
(4) Business and the Environment.
The CBR offers the opportunity for partnerships between academic researchers, business, not-for-profits, government and special interest groups. It addresses the full range of business research issues, from inception to evaluation.
