DESCRIPTION:
International Migration and Ethnic Relations (IMER Norway/Bergen), is a multidisiplinary research unit at the University of Bergen, Norway. The aim of the unit is to contribute to increasing research-based knowledge about international migration, not least related to European countries, the consequences of immigration and emigration for societies.
IMER N/B is organized as a constitutent unit of Center for Development Studies. The objective of the Centre is to stimulate, initiate and co-ordinate development-related research, training and other activities within and between the various departments and faculties of the University of Bergen. The Centre's activities include research, teaching and operational assignments directed to a wide range of development problems.
