DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Education and Professional Studies has an international reputation for the quality of its research, curriculum development, and teaching. The Department was formed in August 1985 by the merger of the Chelsea College Centre for Science and Mathematics Education and the Faculty of Education of King's College London. The Department has achieved high research ratings in all four national Research Assessment Exercises. The research success of the Department of Education and Professional Studies reflects a research culture engendered by a structure of research support for all members of staff.
